Legal Injustice
Introduction:
My name is: Sean Treacy – Stage Name – John Christopher Treacy. I have been very frustratingly at the receiving end of the Irish Legal System both in my personal and business life, involving government and private agencies on numerous, numerous, occasions in the past number of years. Since the launch of this website I have come across some very disturbing information that has been happening in Ireland relating to the sale of nearly all our Print, Radio, TV, media.
Phone, Electricity, Gas and Broadband companies, Arts Council, Banks and most recently the LSRA, Legal Services Regulatory Board. Solicitors, The Ombudsman, CCPC, Comreg, HSE. It is a long list as you work in business or at home you come across situations where you have to deal with these agencies from time to time. In recent years it has become an absolute nightmare for people to interact with them.
THE WAY THESE AGENCIES ARE ALLOWED TO TREAT PEOPLE
IS NOTHING SHORT OF APPALLING
When you start to deal with support call centers and Government Agencies, Statutory Boards or those servicing these agencies you find yourself at the receiving end of the legal system it being quoted to you in all shapes and forms, EU Law, not in our remit, and lately, data protection laws, just to mention a few. This is how these agencies are able to manipulate this legal system to confuse and frustrate you, but is it legal that is the question? In my experience while they sometimes quote these laws and remits, they don’t seem to understand them themselves.
Submitting a complaint
If you get demented enough to actually submit any form of complaint you will soon find doors closing as they start to defend each other and lock you out as quickly as possible.
The Runaround
Passing The Buck
There is usually a whole fool proof sequence to this process. It is like getting on a train at carriage one, someone is continually passing the buck and you are moved along towards the end from carriage to carriage, sometimes you are stalled for a while as no one will answer you, but eventually you are referred away to the last carriage on the train the “Ombudsman’s” carriage and from there you are finally put off the train and on your way, back onto the platform. Goodby now “Another Fool dealt With”. It is tried and tested, hiding in offices behind emails.
When you stand on the platform again you will notice the train never moved and neither did your complaint.
Government Boards
Some people on these boards are very well connected politically and have in some cases been put onto one or more government boards at the same time. Some are very powerful people and have serious political and other contacts within industry and monetary circles, they seem to have no one to answer to. So you are on an uphill battle from the very start.
My rights in this legal system
Well I have had enough, I do believe, like any citizen I have my rights in this legal system as well. I have had enough of the injustice that comes from those who are manipulating the system. I am going to investigate some of these agencies and laws that apply to them and see why we have to put up with this here in Ireland.
Data Protection – HA HA
In a short space of time recently I had to ring two different agencies in Ireland. Having waited for about twenty minutes on both calls, within minutes of being connected to an agent I had to give the people at the other end of the phone: My Account Number, Name, Address, Eircode, and Date Of birth and what I had for my breakfast. The people at the other end of the phone in contrast to this wouldn’t divulge any information to me as to who they are, quoting the data protection law.
So they are all now protected by the data protection law and they have all my personal information in front of them on a computer screen. There is something radically wrong in this scenario. I have no idea who has all my private details as people from all over the world are now answering these calls. What are they going to do with my personal data, sell it maybe or call to my house. This is not right and totally unacceptable.

Companies and agencies, all over the world have got workarounds to get your data to marketing and advertising companies such as Overriding Legitimate Interest with sneaky legitimate Interest cookies permissions. You end up with two choices, you either accept these cookies or go away from the website altogether. With these litigate interest cookies permissions your information could end up anywhere, including advertising and marketing companies, for years in some cases. Believe it or not, this has actually been written into the EU Data Protection law, after spending millions and years drawing up data protection laws you then see this Overriding Legitimate Interest clause written into it.
